When it comes to rubber, there is more straightforward advice on when you should change your rubber. But when it comes to your blade which can get softer over time and thus get slower, due to use and perhaps from the water-based glue, what do you suggest when it's time to get a new blade aside from a player improving to the point where he or she outgrows the blade? I have had my blade over a year, and find I still can grow with it.

Hi Mike,

I think Blades can last for 4 or 5 years easily.  I had one for 20... Probably not ideal at the end.

If you feel you are still growing with your current blade I would keep it.
