Blocking a third ball

hi coach 

last week i played in a tournament im 3rd place my opponent who beat me always doing a powerful third ball and i can't block it properly what should i do when he will make a third ball shot.

coach in addition what should i do to remove my fear to my opponent.

Hi Prince,

It is more important to be able to stop them from making the strong topspin.

If they do make a topspin then you need to play the Backhand Block.  If the ball is fast then you need to have a relaxed hand and angle you bat downwards so the ball doesn't go long.

To remove your fear, think of it as a challenge and that your opponent is providing you with an ability to test your skills.  Without them, you can't play a game.
