Bounces Allowed

How many bounces are allowed on each side of the table other than on serves. If for instance the ball hits the net, goes over and bounces three times is the ball still in play or is it a point for the player that hit the ball into and over the net.

Thanks for the question.

You are only allowed one bounce on your side of the table before you have to hit it.  If it bounces two or more times on your side the point is over and you lose the point.
