Lifespan for a rubber and blade

hello .... whats the lifetime for a rubber and  blade .... thanks a lot ....

Hi Sankar,

With normal club use (between 2 to 3 times per week) a good quality rubber should last between 6 months and a year.  The top players only use their rubber for a couple of weeks.  If you play infrequently they should last even up to 2 years.  Remember though to make sure you look after them by keeping them out of the heat and keeping them clean, just with some water.

As for blades, they can last a lot longer.  they do start to egt soft after a few years.

However, my blade is now 18 years old.  I am sure I wouldn't be using it if I was playing competitively but it is still functional.
