Break the rubber

Hi alois if i accidentally hit my bat with the table and in the center of the rubber just a little it looks like the rubber separate to the sponge my question
If the rubber just have a rift it is good or i need to change it??
pd: is just a little rift a littleee

Hi Francisco,
If it is just a small break it will be fine. There is certainly no problem with this sort of thing for training. For competition a small break will be Ok. The rule says that
| 2.04.07.01 | Slight deviations from continuity of surface or uniformity of colour due to accidental damage or wear may be allowed provided that they do not significantly change the characteristics of the surface. |

What if it like is still small but it effects the paddle alot
If it is small but in the middle of the racket it would not be allowed but you could still use it for training.
