Hi Alois and Jeff,

I currently use the "Stiga Hybrid Wood" blade (95g), and "Stiga Boost TS" (Forehand) and "Stiga Calibra LT Sound" (Backhand). This Combo feels heavy as I'm unable to use my wrist comfortably.

I'm thinking about buying Butterfly's "Maze T-Tec ALL+" (25g) blade with Tenergy 05 on both sides of my bat.

I don't know whether Tenergy 05 and the Stiga Rubbers mentioned are of similar weight, are they?

If not, will a 20g lighter blade feel very different? Is the new combo worth a try?

Thank you.

Hi Mohammad,

I am not sure about weights of rubber.  I know Tenergy is quite heavy though but it is a very good rubber used by many top players in the world.

Confirm Alois that Tenergy is heavy. If I were you, I would stick with the Stiga rubbers: they are the lightest.

Thanks Alois and Arnon, but for the record, the Maze T-Tec ALL+ is 75g not 25g. I should have proofread my question before submitting.

One more thing, what about Tibhar's Nimbus rubber? It must be lighter, but it is any good?

I have no direct experience with Tibhar rubbers but I would advise you change racket and practice it with your old familiar rubbers first to realize the change. If the setup is still unagreeable, then try new rubbers.

FYI, I myself changed from Butterfly Sardius to Xiom Stravidarious and I never regretted the decision. I used to have regular wrist pain on the playing hand, now it almost vanishes and my game is a lot better.
