Chinese rubber for agressive play

i am currently using a cheap chinese rubber from the 729 friendship production. the problem occured when i tried to loop a backspin ball.  It kept going for the net but for smash and backhand it went very nicely.  Is it the way i loop or the ruuber . thanks for the reply

Hi Ismail,

Friendship can be a good quality rubber as well.  It is harder than some other rubbers so it will feel like you are hitting the ball flatter.  Maybe you just need to get the feel of the rubber to topspin with it.  Also check that the surface of the rubber isn't worn.  Rub your finger across it and see if it is grippy.  If it isn't then it is probably old and needs replacement.  A good sheet of Friendship will allow you to topspin the ball well.
