Chinese topsheet on European sponge touch

I used to play with Joola Xplode on a Stiga WRB bat, and my opponents often complained that my balls are too spinny. After I switched to the Hurricane 3-50 (Hurricane topsheet with TinArc sponge), my touch suddenly disappeared. My service always had only a little spin, and my pushes weren't as spinny as before. Is this normal? Or should I just practice until I get the feel back?

Hi Romeo,

I don't know the specifics of the rubbers but it may be a case of allowing yourself more time to adjust to the new rubber.

Hi Romeo,

Do a lot of controlled hitting and also I find pushing helps with this as well.
