Hi Khazi,

This is a problem almost ever player has to some degree.

You need to change the focus of your matches. It is not life and death.  Think of it as a game and a challenge.  Accept that you will start to get a bit anxios when the scores get tight.

Choking is a term for when you become too anxious.  When you feel yourself starting to tighten up you can stop and take a nice deep breath and think about what you are going to do for the next point.  Think about where you will serve the ball to or place the ball if they are serving.

Please also take a loo at the other questions we have had on this same topic and you will see a few other suggestions.  In the Ask the Coach section you an go to the right hand side of the page under "Topics" and choose 'Mental Preparation'.  This will provide more insights into the topic.
