what is your suggestion on finding the right paddle, which includes both rubber and the handle? Would you have any suggestion on any website you can order and customize your own paddle from?
Hi Imran,
Firstly the blade handle shape needs to be comfortable for you. Handles come in flared or straight.
Then look at the speed of the blade. Do you want a fast, medium or slow blade.
Each blade will have a rating for speed.
Then with the rubber look at the speed and spin ratings. The more speed the less control you will get. The spin rating will help you to find out if the rubber has good spinning qualities.
At PingSkills we have narrowed it down to a few rubbers that you will see on our site. Yasaka Pryde, Omega III or Mark V. With blades we recommend the Stiga Clipper wood.
You can buy these through the PingSkills online store. If you want a Stiga Clipper just let us know and we will organise it for you.
