how to chop the ball to produce backspin.try awnser it faster i have a competition on 12th.....

Hi,

You need to have your bat facing upwards.  and in the same position as the forehand counterhit.  Then swing forward and down towards the table.  Take a look at this Lesson on the Forehand Push. For a longer stroke away from the table take a look at the Lesson on the Forehand Chop.

Good luck with your competition.  Dont try to do too much new though.  Play your game like you usually do.
