Cleaning a tacky rubber

Good evening, I have purchased a DHS HURRICANE 3 NEO rubber recently. The surface is very tacky. My question to you is how to maintain the tackiness.   How frequently to clean and with what?

Several people say for tacky rubbers use damp sponge and water, dry it and put the plastic film on firmly. a few say to wipe it off with sweat which I think it’s not correct. Basically I just want to maintain the tackiness of my rubber for as long as possible.
Please Help.

Regards

Hi Carlshen,

The easier way is to wipe it with a damp sponge after each time you use it.  You can also do it during a session if you see dust on it. The main thing for you it to use a non abrasive cloth so that it doesn’t scratch the surface.

You can also use sweat, but water is better.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
