Hi alois or jeff plumb my coach told me that i can clean my table tennis rubber with a little of shaving cream but i tried and i feel the bat very cool and look:

"I read some discussions on this a few years ago. Apparently some players have used Gilette Foamy Regular shaving cream and their opinion was that it worked as well as TT cleaning foam and did not harm the rubber. The real question is probably whether you need to use ANY cleaning product, since a sponge with a bit of water on it (and occasional use of dilute dish soap) is will keep your rubber in great condition with almost no expense."

i found it in internet but i want to have more opinions

so which is your opinion?? about it

pd: i used the gillette foamy regular and the rubber was very clean and cool

Hi Francisco,

I would just use water.  I haven't used anything like that on my rubber.  I think the rubber is too expensive to be experimenting with things like that.  Let others try it out and they might be able to give you some opinions here.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
