Strategy

Hi,

I would usually play close to the table. However, I realized that when I played against my friend who has a very powerful topspin i started going back a little. So,which is better as I've seen many professionals playing at mid-distance. If close to the table play is better what type of rubber is better, inverted or short pips.

Btw, I loop or flick very often.

Hi Hao,

You can change the distance to the table depending on your opponent.  Get to a distance that feels comfortable for you and also troubles your opponent the most.

This is just a form of variation that you can introduce into your game.
