How should the contact change when using a hard or soft sponge. Is scriver a soft sponge
Hi Thomas,
For a soft rubber you can hit the ball a little thicker because the ball will sink into the sponge. For the harder rubber, you can brush over the ball a little more as the hard sponge and rubber will grip the ball more.
Sriver does have a soft sponge.
Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
