Footwork
Hi Alois,
I can easily return my opponent smash if the ball is in my range. But, usually when my opponent smash the ball to the forehand side very deeply, I have to move there quite running and after returning it I need a little bit more time to recover. If my opponent smash it again to my backhand side, I can't reach the ball as easy as if the ball is put on my forehand side. This quite often happening, maybe this is one of my weakness.
So maybe I need a little bit solution for this?
By the way, Wish You a Very Happy Birthday
HJi Kevin,
Think about moving more sideways to the forehand ball. This will give you a better ability to recover and move again to the backhand side. If you run to the forehand you need to turn around to get back to the other side.
Thanks for the wishes.
In this training session you'll develop your control over the ball using some off table exercises, then progress through to performing a consistency challenge to see how many balls you can hit on in a row.

But if I move to forehand side, how could I receive if surprisingly my opponent smash it to the other side?
It is difficult anyway when you give them the chance to smash but by being in a better leg position you will give yourself a better chance of reaching it.
