Training
we all table tennis players have bad days. and i wanna ask you when i have such day what should i do?? stop playing for a while, make some exercises or what???
Hi Kamil,
I once asked an experienced player the same question a long time ago. Her reply was, why not do the same amount. If you have a plan and are working to a long term goal, there will always be ups and downs in your level. If you adjusted every time to these fluctuations you would be changing your program every day.
You need to keep the end goal in mind and just keep working hard.
By throwing in some unexpected long returns you will keep your opponent off balance and this will make each short push you do so much more effective. That's why it's important to be able to return long. You've got 2 options. You can flick the ball or push it long and fast. This week our focus is on these types of returns.
