i want to ask that what is the main purpose of playing counter in table tennis??

Hi Vibhor,
The counterhit in table tennis is used against a flat ball. You use it to place the ball and you can also hit the ball fast as long as you have a little topspin on the ball.
It is a very safe reliable stroke.
