Hi coach,

I have problems in my footwork while making the move at the crossover point to hit a wide forehand. Please suggest some drill or something to make this task easy. Plz help.

Thanks

HI Rajesh,

Unfortunately there is no easy task to get this better.  You need to find ways to practice this ball often.

You can get someone to hit the ball firstly to the middle of the table and then out really wide.  Take both the shots with your forehand.  The critical elements of the crossover footwork is to get the timing correct.  You are actually crossing while playing the stroke which is unlike most other shots in the game.  It is a desperate shot though so that is why you are on the move when hitting it.
