Hi,

I am writing from India, I have been playing TT for about 10 years now but not as consistently as I should have.

Currently I have a customized bat which is about a year old and I need to upgrade to something that will further elevate my game.

Current setup:

Blade --> Donic Waldner All Round

Forehand --> Yasaka Mark V

Backhand --> Butterfly Sriver EL

I am a huge fan of the Sriver as it provides me with optimum combination of speed and spin on my BH. However I have seem to outgrown the Mark V and feel that it is holding me back. Also my balde has seen better days and needs to be changed.

Game type:

My game type would be pretty all round as I am comfortable with both offense and defense, but if I had to pinpoint it I would say it'll be more of offense.

I am open to all suggestions however I should inform that not all brands, variants, etc. are very easily available in India. So kindly suggest something which is more universal in terms of availablity.

My Inclination:

Blade --> Butterfly Power 7 FL or Joola Chen Weixing

FH --> Addidas P3 or Tenergy 05

BH --> Sriver EL

Hi Shobhit,

Your inclination is about right.  The Tenergy may be a bit fast.  YOu could also try a Yasaka Pryde.  The other option that we would suggest is the PingSkills Touch with Yasaka Pryde on both sides.

Thanks for the quick response Alios. Even many of the popular forums aren't this quick, hats off!

Thank you for your suggestions, I give Bryce and PingSkills Touch a try and do some research.

The case with Tenergy is that it is too expensive in India (about $100).

Any thoughts on Donic Persson Carbotec (blade) and Joola Express One (FH). I've heard Express One is equivalent to Tenergy, any suggestions.?

Thansks & Regards.

Sorry for the mistake in your name.

Just noticed you suggested Pryde, I'll look it up. Thanks a lot.
