Hi Darshan,

The rubber first needs to be an approved ITTF rubber.  Then it needs to be in a reasonable condition. What rubber were you using?

Doubles Serving Rules

In this video we go over the somewhat complicated rules of serving for doubles in table tennis. There are a couple of extra rules for doubles that you don't apply to singles. In doubles you always serve from the right hand box diagonally to your opponent's right hand box. Each player has 2 serves each. If you've just been receiving then it's your turn to serve next.

well i used the local bat so i don't know what is the name of the rubber......

i am an amateur player so my dad don't prefer me the high quality bats , BUT I DO HAVE SKILLS

well so can you give me some tips about about returning the side spin pendulum i prefer to chop and push the ball but it bounce high and my opponent just smash it over so what to do to return the ball low ?

Hi Darshan,

So it sounds like the bat didn't have an approved rubber on it which would have been the problem.

To get the ball lower tilt your bat forward slightly.  Another good idea is to focus on getting the ball to touch the top of the net.  It sounds simple but it is very effective.
