Hi,

I think the first tactic would be to see if you can be more consistent than they are with the pushing.

I think one think to be careful about is to not become frustrated that they are not attacking.  As a defender you may have better patience than they do and a more consistent push game.  This will force them to start attacking and perhaps lead to some mistakes from them.

Tactics Against Penhold Players

When playing penhold players it is important to remember to first analyse your opponent as you would if they used any grip. What are their strengths and weaknesses? A common weakness of penhold players is their forehand block especially against a slow spinny topspin. Their backhand may be a weakness if they use the traditional style, or you may wish to explore the crossover point if they are using the reverse penhold backhand.

Hi, everyone!

I am a pusher. If I meet better pusher then I start to attack by topspins. If that opponent is also a good blocker or if there are lots of backspins in his pushes, then I lose.

Maybe try to get them to attack. Pushers often do not have good attack, else they would use it.
