Distance from table in a serve

Hi,

My question is how much distance is legal from table during   serve, because I saw some people serve from 1 feet away from table, is that legal in serve?

Hi Uzair,

You can serve from as far away as you want.  Just needs to be behind the line of the end of the table or the extension of that line.
