Do I need to throw the ball up when serving?

Coach,

My friend told me that when I am serving I must throw the ball up high. Is this correct?

Hi Chee,

Your friend is correct. The rules state that when you are serving you must throw the ball up at least 6 inches.

Touching the Table

Are you allowed to touch the table during play? The only thing that isn't allowed to touch the table is your free hand. You leg, elbow, playing hand, and even your bat are allowed to. You are not allowed to move the table however.
