Does Xbox kinect help your real Table Tennis

Can playing TT with Xbox Kinect help or hurt the real TT skills?  Apparently one can even do topspin and back spin - see below.  Also a link to a video of some one playing

Table Tennis can be played either solo or with a co-op partner. You can also choose to play with either your left hand, or your right hand. To put topspin on the ball, move your arm upwards whilst hitting the ball. To put backspin on the ball, move your arm downwards whilst hitting the ball. If your opponent has to stretch for the ball, you may be given the opportunity to smash the ball. Smashes can be incredibly difficult to return, so try to avoid setting your opponent up for smashes.

Hi Ajoy,

I don't think it has any effect on real Table Tennis at all.  However I am biased because I don't think I have ever won a game on one of those things ever!!

I play wii table tennis all the time.. I suck at it.. So I don't think it helps, but that could just be me

ldon't think it's gonna help because the xbox dont know/read spin and besides real life is different because you need to adjust while in xbox every move is right::
