Hi Pingskills team

ive been having this problem for a while now.  During gameplay i sweat a lot which is causing me problems because it affects my rubber

Every time i wipe my rubber it becomes less and less grippy.  What can i do to prevent it from going to the rubber?

How can i remove the moisture from the rubber?

Thx pingskills team

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year

Hi Amekun,

You should always have a towel with you.  You should have one for yourself and one for your bat if you sweat a lot.

After every 6 points you are allowed to use your towel.  If you are sweating a lot, you can ask the umpire to use the towel more often, especially if it is effecting the bat or the ball.

Another thing that you can do is before a match, run your hands under cold water.  This wil keep them cool for a little while at least.

some racquets have cork handles which they claim can help absorb some sweat.  I tend to sweat like crazy too.  In addition to Alois' suggestions, I also wipe my hand on the table next to the net basically after every point.
