Hi Alois

when you drive or loop off the forehand (for a right-hander), is it true that you are generating the power off your right leg?  I.e. after an extended driving/looping session should you feel more fatigue in your right leg than the left?

Thanks!

Hi Ji-Soo,

Yes a lot of your power will come from your right leg.  It will be tired if you are playing a lot of strong topspins.  your power also comes from the twist in your waist.

Try though to stay as balanced as possible during the stroke.  At the point of impact of the bat on the ball your weight should be back into the middle.
