Hi coach,

I still play school table tennis and have a bat which isn't that great. I also get trained by a coach.I am thinking on buying a new rubber called Andro Roxon Pro 500. Is it good for me? I am already at an intermediate level, but i want to enhance my game of play.

I usually play offensive with topspin.

Please tell me if this rubber is the one for me.

I think this rubber is quite fast.  may be too fast for you to start with.

One rubber that I can recommend is Yasaka Pryde.  It will give you better control.

Hi Pain952 (sorry, get to know your ID from the message, not sure if it is your name, pardon me addressing you this way).....

I am thinking about buying Andro Roxon 500 Pro as well, seems a great tensor series rubber (i.e. do not need speed glue), I started with Sriver but I had accidentally and sadly destroyed the sponge of the Sriver when I peeled the rubber to get rid of some trapped air bubbles...

Some internet communities are giving Andro Roxon 500 Pro good remarks, and another very close contender of the rubber to be selected is Donic JO Coppa Platin, or Donic JO Coppa Platin Soft.

Not research deep enough for Yasaka Pryde though, both Alois and Jeff recommended this too as a replacement for Yasaka Mark V with speed glue.  If you want to reduce slightly on the speed of Andro Roxon though, you may research into Andro Roxon 450 which is softer and thus slower in speed ranking....
