Coach, how often or how long should a table tennis player train? Is it harmful if you train everyday?
Hi Mars,
You should train the amount of time that you can afford and that you can still be enthusiastic about your training. Any more may be harmful.
Training for the sake of clocking up hours is pointless.
I recommend a session of about 2 hours if you can spare that time. If you can train 3 times a week you will see some real improvements.
