Hi coach,

I wanted to know the effective use of elbow and shoulder in the backhand topspin

kreanga and timo both said that before the move they bring the elbow and sholder ahead of the wrist and keep them steady. when i saw a slow version of jeffs and kreanga and all the other pros is that the elbow moves dragging the forearm behind it. i wanted to know the proper use of that. thanks coach

Hi,

Yes, by getting your elbow out in front you can drag the rest of your arm through. Firstly stick to the basics and then you can experiment with this type of stroke.
