Hi guys,
Just wondering what equipment combination you suggest for me that we most help me imporve my game. I am about 1600 USATT rating. I play mostly close to the table and considered all around player.

Hi Gabi,
What are you using at the moment?
We would recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Pryde for around that level. However there are hundreds of options out there.

I used to use a Jun Mizutani (butterfly - rated as off+)blade with Tenergy 5fx on both sides untill I ordered the pingskills touch with Mark V from you for my 9 year old daughter. But I found that I actually like to play with the touch very much.(big smile) I have been alternating playing with touch and the Mizutani setup but I'm not sure if I should continue using the Mizutani setup. Does it make sense to put the Mark V on the Mizutani blade for a faster game or better put the Pryde on the Touch? Or maybe I should stay with the Touch/mark V set up? at what point (usatt rating) do I consider upgrading my rubber? (i.e.,Vega Pro)

Hi Gabi,
I would leave the setups as they are. If you put the Mark V on the Mizutani you will have less power. You could try the Pryde on the Touch.
I am not sure of a rating to change your set up but more if you feel that you are becoming too consistent. By that I mean you are playing strokes at full pace but not getting the full reward for your shots with the speed.
