Exercising with a robot

Training

Hello.

I am practising with a newgy 2050 robot. But I have a problem. While exercising with robot I can do forehand and backhand loop against backspin easily. Also I can do loops with random oscillated balls. But when it comes to doing these loops in matches I am struggling and my consistency is very low. So I want to ask you;

What is the problem? What drills should I do in my trainings?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Ersoy,

There can be a transition between training with a robot and one ball.

The first thing is to watch the ball through the rally.

Secondly, there will be slight variations of spin and speed when playing a person.  Through watching you will start to see these subtle changes.

The key now is to train with a person as much as possible to be able to implement the basics technique that you have developed and extend that so that you can use it in a  match situation.
