Sealing the blade

Sir I won a signed blade from Ovtcharov .I want to use it without losing the sign. Can I seal the blade and what to use to seal the blade?

Hi Saatvik,

Congratulations on winning the blade. That is definitely something to be treasured.

I think you can seal the wood with a wood varnish. You may need to rub the varnish back a little so that it is easier to stick the rubber on.
