Serving
What are some ways of faking a topspin serve if you are a shakehand player?
I've seen players often fake a topspin serve from a pendulum type serve. Are there other ways?
Hi Chris,
You can put topspin on the ball by hitting the ball later in your swing with the Pendulum serve. Later in the swing, the bat is going upwards and therefore when the ball hits the bat you will generate topspin. Take a look at the lesson on the Pendulum Serve for more detailed explanation of this.
