Can I serve with the side of my racket? Not with the rubber but with the blade of my racket, just so that I could make it fast enough when serving. Please reply, I'll appreciate it very much. Thank you!

Hi Jan,

It is allowed to contact the ball with the edge of your racket.  It is very difficult to get any accuracy and consistency by doing this.  It also doesn't allow you to generate and spin.

Hi Alois, from what I know, it would still be legal if you hit the ball with the handle or your finger. But if a penholder does not has any rubber on the other side, using RPB would then be illegal. So what exactly the rule state about hitting area?

That is right you are not allowed to hit the ball with the other side of your racket if you don't have rubber on it.  The edge of your racket is OK.
