Hi Alois and Pingskills

i am working in my fast spinny topspin, training and studying, and i research the technique of the chinese players, and i saw that they move his arm very fast, but with a initial position with the racket down of the knees...Is necessary do that movement or while i have a fast movement of my forearm doesn't matter which is my first position????

Thanks

Hi Cristh,

The knees bent allow them to generate some speed by using the muscles in their legs as well as swinging their arm fast.  It is all about the summation of a lot of forces to reach your maximum potential.

Strawberry Flick

The strawberry flick is the opposite of the banana flick and involves utilising the wrist to get the ball spinning with topspin and sidespin. Used in conjunction with the banana flick it can be very deceptive. The banana flick is a more reliable stroke and that's why you see more top players using it over the strawberry flick.
