Hi coaches!

During the game when I'm in backspin rally it is very uncomfortable to use topspin,  even when ball is high enough. I have no time to hold the bat comfortable for me. I think there are problems in finger positions when I hold the bat. Which fingers are important in various strokes? or how do we use fingers in various strokes?

Hi Ardak,

First try to keep a similar grip for all of your strokes.  See if you can hold the bat in a central position where it is balanced evenly in your hand.  This will help to play both forehand and backhand strokes.

Watch our lesson on Get a Grip for how we recommend you hold the bat.

  3. Finish Position: Completing the stroke in a way that prepares you for the next shot.

Thanks. Must I try to learn forehand and backhand pushes in the position in which I hold the bat during the topspins?
