Hi Alois or Jeff, I am having a hard time getting out of the habit of a terrible backhand topspin that comes up about 12 cm and goes back down and always without fail goes into the net. If there is anything you can do to help me please tell me. :D

Oh I am a beginner player I have only been playing for a year and I have just gone through like a experimental phase were I have been using Long and short pips and have just been talked out of it. Before this I had used normal rubbers on black and red. I am just wondering if I should purchase your PingSkills touch with mark 5

Thanks, yours sincerely Tom

Hi Tom,

If the ball is always going into the net try opening the angle of your bat slightly.  Or you can change the angle of your swing.  Get the swing more vertical.  Both of these will get the ball higher.  Make sure though that you are still putting topspin on the ball by brushing the ball on contact.  This will help it dip back down on to the table.

As far as a bat, the PingSkills Touch with Mark V would be appropriate.  As long as you are using a normal rubber of reasonable quality.
