Flexible Blades

Hello. Why would someone use a flexible blade? What rubbers would suit this type of blade?

I will hand this over to the experts.

I like the feel of the flexible blades because you get better feedback with the feel of the ball.  You can use any type of rubber with them, whatever suits you.
