Dear Alois and Jeff,

I had a question regarding the topspins. To what extent the bat should be bent while hitting topspins? I always vary this angle and get my stroke wrong. Please Help!!

Hi Vineet,

The angle of your bat will depend on the amount of backspin on the ball.  If there is a lot of backspin you will need to have your bat quite open.  If there is little backspin then you can angle your bat down more.

This is a skill that will improve with time.  You need to feel the amount of backspin on the ball and learn to adjust naturally.
