Hello,

My contra balls got a half topspin on it. My trainers are saying that i must learn the basics to aim good with my topspin. Because if i try to aim with my forehand the ball has got a half topspin on it. And no control so the ball always come to the middle of my partner. So i really want to know how to put control with also no spin on it to learn the table tennis basic forehand strike.

Hi Duy,

It is important to learn to control the ball first.  Take a look a our lesson on The Most Important Skill.  Then take a look at our lesson on the Forehand Counterhit.  These may help you.

Forehand Topspin Variations

A great weapon is being able to vary the amount of speed and spin on your forehand topspin stroke. By making your stroke more vertical and brushing the ball finely, you can generate more spin. For more speed you need to swing more horizontally.
