Sir, my defense is dominant in b/h. So, when the attacker attacks, I automatically switch to backhand. i'm weaker in f/h. Any tips please?

Hi Earl,

Practice your forehand defence.  Also think about your stance.  You may be standing with your right foot forward making it easier to hit the backhand.  Square your feet up to the table and this may help.

Hi Punit,

Sometimes it is just a matter of changing your feet position slightly.  If you turn a little to face your forehand side it may help.  It only takes a little turn of a few degrees to make a difference.

Punit, I was the same way until I started taking the time to practice my forehand every time I got the chance to play. Just doing the simple drill of hitting cross-court, your forehand to a right-hander's backhand should help you develop the right motion and confidence in your forehand. Even just doing it for a 10 minute period helped me go from never using my forehand to using it when I should about 90% of the time in just a few weeks. Just my two cents.
