Forehand Loop

Strokes

Hi Alois,

I noticed that whenever I try to loop the ball, the contact point ends up being under the table. If I try to raise the contact point, the ball goes too far and high. Is what I am doing correct? Are there any potential drawbacks to what I am doing?

Thanks

Hi BP,

When you hit the ball from below the table you can get a slower spin ball bi tit is difficult to hit the ball fast.  They are different types of strokes and effects.

The slower ball can be effective but if you want to hit the ball faster then try taking theban higher.  Turn the angle of your racket forward and have a more horizontal swing to generate more pace/
