Forehand smash position and technique

How do I hit a forehand smash with proper technique without basic errors like the ball hitting the net or going out of the table? I am a school level player and have to play next week please help.

Slow to Fast Progression
It's important to practice your shots slowly to get the correct technique. That will lead you to being able to hit the ball faster. You do need to practice these faster shots in training before using them in a match.
