Strokes
My forehand is a lot better and consistent from my backhand so on some balls near my backhand i really get confused to play the shot with backhand or forehand.
Hi Nikhil,
A lot of players have stronger forehands than backhands. If you develop good footwork then you can play a lot more forehands which will suit your game.
Having said that, it's important to develop your backhand. When you train spend some time on developing this stroke. I often see players make a big jump in their level once they get confident playing backhand topspins.
The backhand topspin off a topspin ball is one of the hardest to learn in table tennis. Learn how once you know how to play the backhand topspin you can master this shot and play some great backhand counter topspins.

when balls go to my backhand, i naturally try and chop or block it. how do i over come that instinct and is it normal to do this?
You should get a mindset of wanting to attack each of these balls. In training only allow yourself to attack any of these type of balls.

All i do is to get a strong fh loop, good bh block or counterhit. Bh loop is also good but it is not as speedy and fast- generally
