Hi Alois and Jeff

I've got a question about forehand topspin.

When I wanna do a forehand topspin if its far from me I throw my hand and then jump to that place and I wanna know is it good or no.

Thanks good luck

Hi Parsa,

Ideally you want to make your leg movement before you play the stroke.  That way you are balanced during the shot and will be able to recover to make the following shot.

Of course sometimes this is difficult and you just have to manage the movement during the stroke.

Take a look at the Footwork Basics.  The principles apply at the more advanced level as well.
