Hi Alois and Jeff,

I'm starting to find that often when I play the forehand topspin against the backspin,my bat ends up contacting the ball along the edge most of the time. How can solve this issue and improve my stroke

Regards

Hi Rishabh,

Try to push your bat a little more forward on contact.  Also if you are hitting the top edge you may be just a fraction late on the ball.

The Finish Position

There are 3 basic areas to focus on when learning a stroke: 1) The position of your feet. 2) The starting position of your bat. 3) The finishing position of your bat. Of all these 3 elements the finish position is the most critical. Watch this video to find out why.
