How do you play a forehand topspin when the ball is so far?
Hi Thomas,
Take a look at our lesson on the Forehand Topspin Against Block. If you get forced back further away from the table, your swing can become bigger but the basics remain the same. The further back you are the more likely the ball is also going to be lower so in this situation you need to lift the ball with a more vertical swing. Make sure you are still brushing the ball to generate the topspin which will give you the dip required to get the ball up and back down onto your opponent's side of the table.
