Forehand Topspin consistency

Hi Alois,

Thanks for your wonderful website. In fact I learnt alot from it. But when I keep attacking my opponent returns the ball at an angle. He manouevers me around the table. I don't know how he beats me because he always pushes the ball, not putting backspin on the ball. When the ball comes to my forehand side i topspin but the ball ends on the ground.

So how do i improve my forehand topspin consistency?

Hi Abdulla,

It sounds like your forehand topspin is OK but you may need to do some more practice on doing it while moving.  You can do this by practicing footwork drills while doing topspin.  This will help you to get more balance and also quicker with your movement to get into position to make the topspin.
