Giving a point in the serve

Recently , I have come across an opponent who has a really strong serve. The problem is that he can serve backspin, sidespin and topspin in almost a similar action. What should i do?

Watching the contact is the first important part.  This will give you some good information.

Then watch the tutorials we have in the Serving and Receiving section on Introduction to Receiving which will give you she good tips on what to look for to decide what type of spin is on the ball.
